Heleman 5:12 "And now my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea his shafts in the whirlwhinds, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the fulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall." I testify that this is true. That we must build our foundation upon Christ. He is the only way that it is possible for anyone to make it back to our Heavenly Father and to become like Him. I KNOW that my Savior lives. He is my Redeemer and He has suffered for my sins. He loves me and is standing there with arms opened to me, praying that I will go to Him and let Him make me clean. He has broken the chains of death, both physical death and spiritual. There is nothing that His love and light hasn't touched He has created all things and wants us to have all the blessings of this life and the next. He asks us only to "come unto Him," to read the words which He has given to us, listen to the prophet He has sent, and use the atonement He has made.
I testify that if we read the scriptures and pray to the Father daily, we will be blessed to have the Holy Ghost as our constant companion. He has to testify of Christ and when we are immersed in the Book of Mormon: Another Testement of Jesus Christ, He will be present. I know that this gospel is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. The Holy Ghost has born witness to me that the words in that book are the words of God and that they have been preserved through the ages for our day and time. I KNOW that Jesus Christ LIVES! He is the Christ, the Savior of the world. He has redeemed all mankind from sin if they will repent. I love Him and am eternally grateful beyond measure for the love and sacrifice He has shown me. I vow from this day forward to live my life in such a way that He knows that I am grateful for what He has done for me. I pray that all men may come to realize this one great truth, that we are all children of GOD, oh what potential we have...I know these things are true and I testify of them in the name of my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, amen.
