I Believe in Christ

Dear Moroni,

I can't imagine just how blessed I am to have read your words and the words of all those who went before you. The Book of Mormon is such a large part of my life I don't know where I would be without it. My life and the lives of everyone on this Earth, however directly or indirectly affected, would have been so different if you hadn't held true to what you know amid the horrible deeds you saw. It must have been so hard to live near that and then live alone for so long, but I am eternally grateful you continued with the work you were given. Even more, I'm grateful to God for His everlasting kindness to His children, and to Christ for the atonement that makes it possible for us all to climb over our faults and be with Him in neverending happiness. I know He cares for us, and wants us to be with Him in the end, and next to the atonement, the Book of Mormon is one of the greatest gifts He has given us. Because of the Book of Mormon, I know who, what, and where I am, and what I am working toward. I know I am a child of God on Earth, and that my purpose is to become worthy of the everlasting life God wants me to have. I know that if I work as hard as I can and endure to the end as you did, I can overcome my weaknesses and become the person I've always wanted to be, whether I realized it or not. I know Christ lives, and loves us all more than we can imagine. And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
