My Witness

Dear Moroni:

I often have thought what the value is of a testimony? Is it something that you can lose? Is it something that comes and goes with time? Why would someone want to believe in something they can not prove? I feel that all these questions have come to ones mind at one point or another in life. Yet it is my belief that it is those people who persist in doing what is right that find the true answer that brings them peace in life. I could write out an entire lengthy story that might capture a minute portion of the spirit that was felt in the process, but I don't think it could fully explain the message that the spirit conveys through pure simple testimony. Every man must find his own way through the spirit to conversation. I feel I can simply say my experience is like unto Alma's when he said "They are made known unto me by the Holy Spirit of

God. Behold I have fasted and Prayed many days that I might know these things of myself." I know that God lives and that his Son Jesus Christ died for each one of our sins. He suffered imencely for our pains and transgressions. I know that if we change and repent that the sorrows that we have in this life will dissipate. If we are unhappy or depressed we can turn to him and forget our pains by forsaking sin and aleaving his pain. It is his church that the Book of Mormon is written from and was sealed by the hand of Moroni. I know that the prophet Joseph Smith did restore Christ's church once again on this earth through the help of messengers like Moroni. I bear my Solomon witness in the name of Jesus Christ Amen
