I believe in Christ with all of my heart. I know that he gave up his life for each and every single one of us and I am very grateful for that. He loves us and I can feel it in my life daily; he is always there for me when I need him. I always thought I believed in Christ while I was growing up, and I did, but I understand what believing really is more fully now. I have prayed about knowing that he is the Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior and I have gotten that peaceful feeling that it is true so I know without a doubt in my mind that he is the true Christ. Through his grace, I can become perfected in him. I was able to come down to this earth and gain a body because of the atoning sacrifice that he made. He went through so much for each and every one of us; he felt every pain that we feel, have felt and will ever feel, which we have no idea how agonizing that would have been. He bled from every pore for us because he loves us each individually more than we can even imagine. I love him with all my heart and I will never deny him.
I know that this gospel is true and that the Book of Mormon is true also. We are so lucky to be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and have another testament of Jesus Christ through the Book of Mormon. I know that our Heavenly Father loves me for who I am and knows me personally by name. I know that Jesus Christ is a merciful God and will judge me accordingly. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet of the church today and that he receives revelation from God and keeps us on the path that we need to be moving on. We need to follow whatever the prophet tells us because it is really coming from the Lord. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, restored this gospel and translated the Book of Mormon so that we could have it today. I know that if we follow Christ's example, we can become like him someday and return to our Father in Heaven. I know that we can receive personal revelation through the Holy Ghost and that he is always there to guide us in our lives if we are living worthily. I know that the temple is a sacred place and we should go to it as much as we can so we can feel the peace that it brings to us.
Again, I'm so grateful for this gospel. I don't know where I would be or what I would do without it. There are many temptations that we go through, but if we just come unto Christ and keep him in our lives at all times, we can overcome whatever may come at us. I know that he is always there for us if we just reach out to him. He will never let us fall if we are doing what we are supposed to do and staying on the strait and narrow path. We can do anything with the Lord! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
