I Know!

The Book of Mormon is hard to describe how wonderful it truly is. This book has had a huge impact on so many lives including mine and the testimony I have gained from it is priceless. Every time I open it I can feel a sense of peace and I begin wondering why I go through periods in my life where I don't pick up the Book of Mormon more than once a week. This book should be a part of our daily activity. It is all about the gratitude we show to those who sacrificed to write this amazing book. I would just like to personally thank Moroni...you are amazing and because you were willing to be alone and not deny Christ we have this book which changes lives. I know that it must have been difficult but because you saw our day and knew that we truly needed this book to get through, you were willing to suffer. I don't think I could ever thank you enough for you sacrifice and the only way I know how is to read The Book of Mormon and apply it to my life by coming unto Christ. If I return back faithfully it will show you that your sacrifice was not wasted, and through you and Christ I am able to return and spend eternity with my Father in Heaven and my Savior.
I know that my Savior lives, that he died for me, and that he took upon my sins that I might be able to repent and return back to Him. I can't wait for the day when He will come down from the heavens as he did in 3 Nephi and I will be able to touch the prints from the nails in His hands and feet. More importantly I will get the chance to be face to face with my Redeemer and have Him bless me. I hope that when I see Him it will be a day of rejoicing because of my faithfulness to the gospel and I will not be ashamed because I had unresolved sins.
The whole purpose of the Book of Mormon is to come unto Christ and I have come unto Christ as I have read this book and learned more about Him. I will learn from the examples of the wicked who will not repent and I will strive to come unto Christ in one way or another. This semester I have tried to perform service once a week by going to the temple and doing baptisms for the dead, at first I thought I don't have time to go to the temple once a week but Heavenly Father knows how all things can be done and allowed time in my schedule for the perfect time each week to attend. Each week I take my Book of Mormon and read in the temple and the feeling is indescribable....I love the Book of Mormon!
Love....Merilee
