I have a testimony of the Lord, Jesus Christ. He died for my sins. He died for my pains and my burdens. He died so that I might return to my Heavenly Father. I have come to learn of his deep love for me and the power of that love. As I learn of him, it warms my heart and inspires me to become like him.
I am grateful for his servant, Joseph Smith and for the sacrafices he made so that I could come to know my Savior. I am grateful for the Savior's grace which makes up for my many weaknesses and provides a way that I might gain strength through Him. I am grateful for the example of the Savior and for the light that it brings to my life. I am grateful to see a beam of truth and clarity in a world of chaos and confusion.
I love my Heavenly Father. He has provided so many opportunities for happiness and growth and I know that he only wants me to have joy. I am grateful for prayer and the chance it gives me for direct communication with my creator. Prayer is my tie to heaven and it is my life jacket when I feel like I'm drowning.
I am grateful for my agency to make right and wrong choices. It builds my testimony even more when I can take advantage of the atonement and ask my Heavenly Father's forgiveness. I am grateful for experiences that have opened my eyes to the lies of the world and showed me the beauty in righteousness.
I am grateful for Christ and for those that keep his light in their eyes. I cling to their example and find inspiration in the good of the world.
Lastly, I love the holy scriptures and while I feel like an infant swimming in the deep end of the pool I can still find simple truths and manifestations of his love for us, for me. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
