Jesu Christe es me salvador
I know that Christ is my Savior. I am happy that I have a chance to repent, and become cleansed from my sins, because of Christ's infinite atonement. I remember when I was eight years old, and I chose to get baptized. I remember the feeling that I felt after I was immersed in the water. I felt the clean and pure feeling that the remission for sins brings. I felt light, and joyful, having no sins to weigh me down. I felt this feeling for the rest of the day, or until I got in a fight with a sibling, or didn't listen to my parents, and I wasn't all the way clean anymore. I am human, like everyone else and I make mistakes like anyone, but I can repent and feel the redeeming power of the atonement again and again. Everytime God forgives me, I forget the pain that sins bring, and I feel pure and clean. Every week I take the sacrament, and I remember Jesus Christ's atonement. When I partake of the sacrament with a repentant heart, remembering Christ, and wanting to keep His commandments, then each time I feel clean again, as if I had been re-baptized. I and anyone else, we all can repent of our sins daily, with Godly sorrow, and because of what Christ did, God will atone for our sins, and we can receive the joy that comes from the remission of sins daily. Christ loves us, and he does not want us to be burdened down by our sins.
