I have learned about Jesus Christ for as long as I can remember. I have been taught that he is the son of God, I have been taught that he loves me, and I have been taught that he is the only way I can be happy. As I have grown, my knowledge and understanding of who he is and what he does has increased. Yet, at the center, I best understand the facts that Christ loves me and he suffered in my place in order to give me happiness. Through the power of the Holy Ghost, I have received a confirmation that Jesus Christ is the son of God and the Savior of the world. I know that he lives because of the extraordinary feelings I often receive when I study about him, hear testimony of him, see people acting like him and when I speak in his name to my Heavenly Father. There is no doubt in my mind that he walked upon this earth centuries ago as a humble man who went about doing good. I am thankful for his example and his teachings that we have recorded in holy scriptures. I believe that he truly understands how hard life can be as a result of his mortal life and, of course, his atoning sacrifice. He is the only one that fully understands the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual pains that accompany this life. I feel that he empathizes with me and is always ready to comfort me when I am willing to accept his love. I testify that he atoned for my sins and the sins of every other spirit child of the Father. I do not understand how, but I know that it happened because I have experienced forgiveness. I have a testimony that he he rose from the dead in a miraculous resurrection and that he opened the door for my immortality. Furthermore, I am assured, through the spirit, that he will one day plead my case before the father. As I continue to study about his life and his teachings, my faith in him is bound tighter and tighter and I see it happening because my desires change and I want to be more like him. I love my Savior. I know that he has established his kingdom upon the earth once more. I hope for the day when he, under the direction of the Father, will come again to redeem his people and remove all the iniquity and impurities of this life. I bear this personal testimony in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
