Dear Moroni,
I have a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that this gospel is true with all of my heart! I am so grateful for the words of the prophets that make up the Book of Mormon. I know that this book is real, the people are real, and the events are real. I know that this book is truth. I know that Christ lives, he really does live. I know that he came and visited the Nephites on this very continent. I know that the counsel of the ancient prophets are true and that they are specifically written and meant for us in our day. I know that the prophets are inspired men of God, and that they all had testimonies of this gospel too. I have a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon, it changes lives. I know because it has changed my life. I live the way I do because of this book and because I try to abide and live according to its precepts. I know that a person really can come closer to God by reading this book than any other book. I know because I have read the Book of Mormon, and I know that I am nearer to my God than ever before each time I read this incredible book. I know that it brings peace and truth into lives. I know that this is the only true church on this earth. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, called by God to serve and to restore this glorious gospel. I know that all of the trials and tribulations that the early saints as well as the ancient prophets went through were for the good of the church, and that their lives were in service to my life. I benefit from their lives, because the early saints chose to follow the words which the prophets recorded. I also benefit from the prophets lives, because without them dedicating their lives to writing the Book of Mormon and being obedient to our God, this gospel would not be what it is today. I love the prophets and I am so grateful for their testimonies and their lives. I know that this gospel is true! I can feel that it is right in my heart! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
