I am grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that He is the son of God and that because of Him we can return to our Father in Heaven if we obey His commandments. The scriptures are the words of the Lord and through scripture study we can come to learn more about Him. I know that the Bible and Book of Mormon support each other and they have one purpose, to help us come unto Christ. In 3 Nephi 11:15 when Christ visits the people in America is says "the multitude went forth...going forth one by one until they had all gone forth, and did see with their eyes and did feel with their hands, and did know of a surety and did bear record, that it was he..." it was their Savior. To me it is amazing how they went "forth one by one". I believe the scriptures and personal prayer are the was that we can go "forth one by one" so that we can "know of a surety" that he is our Savior. In John 20:31 is says this about the scriptures "these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." I love the Lord! I am grateful for all that he has done for us!
