Light of the World

I am thankful for Jesus Christ and for his examples. He truely is the perfect example and if everyone follows Him, we will return back to our Heavenly Father. I know he lives. I am thankful for the atonement and the chance we have to come clean of our sins through repentance. There are times where it may seem that we are in the darkest abyss, whether it be because of our own actions or because of some other reason, but through our Savior we can return back onto the path that will lead us to eternal life. He is truely merciful, understanding, and desires that all of us return back to Him and our Heavenly Father. I also know that he has experienced everything we have and will and if we turn to him for direction and answers he will show us either through the scriptures, leaders of the church, or by other means. I know that He called President Monson and all of the other former Prophets to lead his church in these latter days. I know Prophets and Apostles receive revelation from our Savior and if we follow their directions we will be better prepared in this life and in the next life to come. I am thankful for the Book of Mormon and I know that one can come closer to God than by any other book because it has transformed my life and continues to do so. I also know the Bible to be the word of God. I am thankful for everything that Joseph Smith went through in order to establish God's church. I know that it is the only true church to have men who hold the Priesthood of God to act in his name. I also know that this is the only church that has all of the saving ordinances needed to obtain the highest degree of glory. I bear witness not just to those who read this but to everyone in the world that all of these things that I have said is true in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
